CrossPunk generates a 10×10 crossword around any topic you give it, then hands you the controls: difficulty, style, must-include words, and full editing of the grid, answers and clues.
It sits between an AI tool and a puzzle editor. The language generation is model-assisted; the grid itself is held together by deterministic constraints and validation, so what you get is a real, solvable crossword.
The idea
Making a crossword by hand is slow and fiddly; generating one purely with a model produces grids that do not hold up.
Combining AI-assisted word and clue generation with strict grid rules gives you a personalised puzzle in minutes that still behaves like a proper crossword.
