Overview

Generations of cricket fans played book cricket at the back of a classroom: flip a page, read the last digit, score the run. Book Cricket 11 keeps that spirit of chance and builds a genuine simulation around it — formats, squads, tactics and consequence.

Nostalgia is the entry point. The long-term value is the cricket underneath: format-specific scoring, team management and matches you actually want to replay.

The idea

Book cricket worked because the rules fit in one sentence and all the drama came from the numbers.

Most cricket sims go the other way — heavy setup, dense menus. Book Cricket 11 aims for immediate play with simulation depth sitting underneath it.

What’s evolving

  • Historic teams
  • Tournaments & knockouts
  • Live matchday interface

Key experience

  • 01

    T20, ODI and authentic Tests

Three formats including proper multi-day Test cricket, each with its own pacing, match situations and scoring behaviour.

  • 02

    International, domestic and historic teams

Modern line-ups, domestic sides, historic teams and all ten contemporary IPL teams, with squads that shape how an innings unfolds.

  • 03

    Single player, multiplayer and tournaments

Play solo, head to head locally with remote multiplayer in the works, or through tournaments and IPL-style competitions with tables and knockouts.

  • 04

    Ball-by-ball or simulate ahead

Follow every delivery, or simulate an over, an innings or a full match when you want the result rather than the ritual.

  • 05

    Realistic, format-specific scoring

Outcomes are modelled per format rather than using naive uniform randomness, so a Test session does not behave like a T20 powerplay.

  • 06

    A modern matchday interface

Batting and bowling intent, line-ups and squads, a live scoreboard, commentary and a match timeline — readable on a phone in one hand.
